What's New

New release describes FalkorDB graph database with breaking parser changes.

Breaking Changes

  • Parser now rejects invalid syntax like 'NOT NOT', 'SET [n)', and 'LOAD CSV WITH'.
  • Index validation now enforces vector 'dimension' and 'similarityFunction' requirements.
  • The 'coalesce()' function now requires at least one argument.
  • 'startNode()' and 'endNode()' now accept null values.
  • 'toInteger' of a string below i64::MIN now returns null.

Improvements

  • Improved performance for IdSpace and CoW B+-tree operations.
  • Vector KNN queries now clamp the 'k' parameter to prevent memory over-allocation.
  • Parser now accepts 'IS NULL IN' syntax.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed parser to reject invalid syntax like 'NOT NOT', 'SET [n)', and 'LOAD CSV WITH'.
  • Fixed 'startNode()' and 'endNode()' to accept null values.
  • Fixed parser to reject 'MATCH MATCH' and accept 'IS NULL IN'.
  • Fixed compact date and time strings with non-digits to be rejected.
  • Fixed 'toInteger' of an integer string below i64::MIN to return null.

Upgrade Notes

The newer release notes describe a completely different product (FalkorDB) compared to the previous Codewhale CLI tool. If upgrading FalkorDB, update parser rules and ensure index definitions include required vector dimensions.
