v1.16.1 v1.13.3
BITyia/DroneSplatJul 2, 2026 → Jul 3, 20261 day between releases
What's New
Newer tag v1.13.3 is numerically older than v1.16.1 and swaps jailer/vsock fixes for WebRTC and mock-server features
Breaking Changes
- The version number regresses from 1.16.1 to 1.13.3, so adopting this release is effectively a downgrade that drops the jailer symlink revert and the vsock snapshot-restore fix.
- The DataBlobKey log name is now camel case, which can break log parsers, alerts, or dashboards keyed on the previous field name.
- The bundled webrtc dependency update changes data channel interop behavior, so clients validated against the prior bundling should be re-tested.
New Features
- A mock API server is included for testing server SDKs without a live backend.
- The mock server supports auth checks, enabling end-to-end authentication testing.
- Data track schema metadata is now exposed.
- Average bitrates are reported for WHIP ingress.
Improvements
- The webrtc library was updated to resolve interop issues with bundled data channels.
- The github.com/urfave/cli/v3 dependency was bumped to v3.10.0.
- Log naming for DataBlobKey was normalized to camel case for consistency.
Bug Fixes
- The WHIP session notifier is now stopped when a participant leaves, preventing a lingering notifier.
Upgrade Notes
Treat this as a downgrade rather than an upgrade: the tag is lower than v1.16.1 and the jailer symlink and vsock snapshot-restore fixes present in the older release are absent here. If you depend on the DataBlobKey log field, update parsers for the new camel case name before rolling out. Re-run WebRTC/data channel integration tests after the bundled library change.
