## OMI Desktop v0.12.156

### What's New
- Choose which Google account Omi reads email from — in Settings and during onboarding — instead of silently connecting the first readable browser profile
- Gmail account selection now fails closed when browser identity cannot be verified, keeps reads on the selected profile, and cancels onboarding selection safely
- Improved Claude Code and Codex connections so they automatically know how to use your Omi context
- Your AI profile is now generated by Omi’s managed model instead of a separate desktop model
- Calendar, Gmail and Apple Notes imports now use Omi’s managed synthesis instead of a separate desktop model
- Memory-log import and knowledge-graph discovery now use Omi’s managed extraction instead of a separate desktop model
- The Home tab is now called Chat, with a chat icon
- Fixed an invisible area around the floating notch that could block buttons in Omi and other apps
- Home now opens straight into your chat with Omi; the activity timeline moved to a new Activity tab in the renamed Memories section, and the window hides when you click away
- Beta updates now ship automatically every hour whenever new fixes have merged
- Reliability fix in the chat knowledge-graph tooling
- Fixed invisible dead zones: the notch overlay no longer swallows clicks meant for windows beneath it (including Omi's own top navigation)
- Notch notifications are wider and more legible — a larger accent icon, bigger title and body text, and roomier spacing so proactive nudges are easy to see at a glance
- Fixed routine button actions playing unnecessary click sounds
- The Command-O window now closes when you click the desktop or another app
- Focus nudges now name your due-today tasks when you're drifting, AI-captured tasks wait in a collapsed Suggestions section until you accept them, and two capture bugs that silently disabled all proactive notifications (phantom Mission Control, phantom idle) are fixed
- Improved chat tool progress with an animated timeline that extends as each step starts
- Fixed an issue that delayed app updates from being delivered
