v0.9.94 v0.9.95
Graphify-Labs/graphifyOct 22, 2026 → Oct 23, 20261 day between releases
What's New
v0.9.95 adds YAML extraction, type-alias/C# overload handling, install security hardening, and a cache schema bump.
New Features
- Structural extraction for .yaml/.yml files as code, with file nodes and contains edges to keys.
- Explicit type alias extraction for Python, Go, C++, and Rust, plus Rust union item extraction.
- Per-overload C# method nodes with argument-count-based call binding.
- package.json dependency manifest entries now link to the resolved import/reference node.
- Merged multi-repo graph tree export now gives each repository its own root.
Improvements
- Skill-install writes use randomly named O_EXCL temp files to prevent symlink-redirection attacks.
- Windows extended-length cache paths avoid extraction failures on deeply nested repositories.
- Broad extraction correctness improvements across Python, Go, C++, Rust, C#, Objective-C, SQL, and JSON configuration.
- Binary media files are no longer counted as text during ingestion.
- The AST cache schema bump invalidates stale caches and forces a clean re-extraction.
Bug Fixes
- Explicit type aliases now resolve to type nodes instead of creating sourceless stubs.
- C# overloaded methods no longer collapse into a single node and calls bind by argument count.
- Deep Windows cache paths no longer cause extraction failures.
- Binary media is no longer misclassified as text.
- Skill installs no longer allow a pre-planted symlink to redirect writes to arbitrary files.
Upgrade Notes
The AST cache schema is bumped, so the first build after upgrading will re-extract and may take longer. YAML/YML files are now treated as code, which can add new nodes and edges to existing graphs. No config migration is mentioned; rebuild and review graph output for the new YAML and type-alias nodes.
The Two Releases
graphify 0.9.94
Oct 22, 2026· 6 days ago
Graphify 0.9.94 incorporates nineteen community pull requests, with a security-focused ingestion pass and a broad set of extraction/resolution correctness fixes. URL fetching now rejects malformed hosts, invalid ports, and embedded credentials before requests and on redirects, while text capture avoids dangling-symlink escapes. The release also improves Maven, JS/TS, CommonJS, Objective-C, SQL, Markdown, MCP, cross-repo, CLI, and serve behavior; the AST cache schema is bumped so the first build after upgrade re-extracts.

Graphify 0.9.95 incorporates twenty-one community pull requests, with a strong focus on extraction correctness across Python, Go, C++, Rust, C#, Objective-C, SQL, and JSON configuration. It also hardens install and export security, improves merged-graph tree export and Windows cache handling, and adds structural YAML extraction for Helm, Kubernetes, and CI files. The AST cache schema is bumped, so the first build after upgrading will re-extract.
