Full Release Notes

This patch release fixes Designer undo and redo across pages, makes hex colors with transparency work in generated PDFs and in the Designer color pickers, and stops invalid custom fonts from crashing the Node process.

## Fixes

- **Designer undo and redo across pages:** Undo and redo now restore the page where the change was made, instead of writing that page's fields onto whichever page is on screen. Adding and deleting pages is now part of the history, and schema ids are kept. After undo or redo, `getTemplate()`, `saveTemplate()` and `onChangeTemplate` match the canvas. Table and list height adjustments no longer add extra history steps. (#1397, #1643)
- **Hex colors with an alpha channel in PDFs:** `#RRGGBBAA` colors were drawn fully opaque in generated PDFs, and 4-digit `#RGBA` colors made generation fail with `blue must be of type number, but was actually NaN`. Both now render with the same transparency as the Designer, Form and Viewer, for text, rich text, lines, rectangles, ellipses and barcode backgrounds. Templates without alpha colors produce the same PDFs as before. (#1634, #1635, #1639)
- **Invalid custom font data:** When a custom font's `data` is not a valid font, `generate()` still rejects with `Unknown font format`, but a second uncaught rejection no longer crashes the Node process. Callers can now handle the error with try/catch. (#1636, #1637)
- **Rotation for custom plugins:** The canvas and the sidebar now use the same rule to decide whether a schema can be rotated. A plugin whose `defaultSchema` sets `rotate: undefined` no longer gets a rotate handle on the canvas, matching the documented behavior and the disabled rotate field in the sidebar. (#1642)

## Features

- **Transparency in Designer color pickers:** Color pickers now have an alpha slider and accept 8-digit hex values, so you can set semi-transparent text, fill and border colors in the Designer. Barcode bar and text colors stay opaque. (#1640, #1641)

## Upgrade notes

- **Custom plugins with `rotate: undefined`:** If your plugin relied on the canvas rotate handle while setting `rotate: undefined` in its `defaultSchema`, set `rotate: 0` instead to keep rotation. Built-in plugins are unchanged. (#1642)
