AI Summary
Enhances ligature glyph name decoding to read components like f_t or uniXXXX sequences based on the Adobe Glyph List specification.
Key Highlights
- Decodes ligature glyph names by components (e.g., f_t, f_f_i) instead of dropping them.
- Handles uni sequences of code points and glyph name suffixes (e.g., a.sc, f_i.liga).
- Maintains width inheritance via base-14 fallback for multi-letter results.
New Features
- Ligature glyph name decoding
- Support for Adobe Glyph List specification
Full Release Notes
Changes since 1.22.0: - Read ligature glyph names by their components instead of dropping them: names that spell a ligature by components (`f_t`, `f_f_i`, `T_h`), as a `uni` sequence of several code points (`uni00660069`), or with a suffix (`a.sc`, `f_i.liga`) decode to their letters per the Adobe Glyph List specification, in `/Differences` arrays and in embedded font programs' own glyph names; multi-letter results carry their widths through the base-14 fallback. A name that still cannot be read keeps reading as nothing, as in 1.22.0 (#558). No API changes. Release preparation: #559.
