Release notes summary

This release focuses on stability and performance improvements for the code search tool, introducing safety checks to prevent recursion errors and optimizing model loading for the MCP server. A significant change involves removing the deprecated `mode` argument to simplify the API and rely on default settings.

Key Highlights

  • Added depth and chunk bounds checks to prevent recursion errors
  • Removed the deprecated `mode` argument from Semble
  • Optimized model loading to be non-blocking in MCP serve mode
  • Added agent-specific initialization files for better integration

Breaking Changes

  • The `mode` argument is no longer supported in search

New Features

  • Depth and chunk bounds checking
  • Non-blocking model loading in MCP serve
  • Agent-specific init files

## Deprecation warnings ⚠️
- `mode` is no longer supported in search as of https://github.com/MinishLab/semble/pull/119. Search behavior can still be controlled by enabling/disabling reranking with the `rerank` argument, and by setting the alpha value to use more semantic vs lexical search, though the recommended use is to not touch this and rely on the defaults which are tuned for code search.
