v3.4.3 v3.5.0

What's New

v3.5.0 adds an opt-in Beta UX 3.5 console shell and FreeBSD community support while keeping the Classic UI as the default.

New Features

  • Optional UX 3.5 Beta console shell with full-list sidebar and topbar chrome, enabled via a navbar switch or the ?ui=ux35 query parameter.
  • FreeBSD Tier 3 / community support with example rc.d scripts and install notes under contrib/freebsd/.

Improvements

  • Dual-mode console chrome keeps operators on the classic icon rail unless they explicitly opt into the Beta shell, which is clearly badged while active.
  • Rate limiter path matching for console API endpoints is now more accurate.
  • Operators upgrading from older stables get the accumulated 3.4.1–3.4.3 hotfixes in a single step.

Bug Fixes

  • OIDC client login no longer hangs on 'Waiting…' because the panel now proxies the OIDC callback routes to the Go API so console-origin redirect URLs complete SSO.
  • Docker AIO supervisord no longer crashes when NTP or billing clock environment variables are absent, thanks to entrypoint/Dockerfile defaults.
  • Carries forward prior hotfixes including enrollment outbound hardening, Web Remote panel-proxy, mesh cert hash, and the Unban kebab fix.

Upgrade Notes

The Classic UI stays the supported production default, so no action is needed unless you want to trial UX 3.5 via the navbar switch or ?ui=ux35. Docker AIO deployments should rebuild the image or run docker compose pull to pick up the NTP/billing env defaults. FreeBSD is manual-build only — there are no CI binaries or panel updater support for it.
