v1.21.0 v0.1.812-beta
Project-HAMi/HAMiSep 22, 2026 → Sep 22, 20261 day between releases
What's New
The newer notes describe a different product surface and a lower version number, so this is not a clean upgrade from v1.21.0.
Breaking Changes
- Version numbering regresses from 1.21.0 to 0.1.812-beta, implying a separate release track rather than a forward upgrade of the same line.
- The two note sets share no features: Docker workspace execution, Forgejo/GitHub app-source handling and static-server fixes from v1.21.0 are absent from the newer notes.
- Any automation pinning on the 1.x semver range will not resolve to 0.1.812-beta, and tooling that assumes monotonic versions may misbehave.
New Features
- Qwen-Image-2.1 image generation support via diffusers integration.
- Custom Agent Skills that can be reused from existing Claude Code and .agents folders and selected in chat with @.
- Draggable chat sidebar supporting reorder, pin, and move-into-project on web UI and Linux desktop.
- Native ARM64 Linux .deb installer plus in-app Debian updates for Ubuntu 24.04+.
- Vision models can now consume images returned by MCP tools.
Improvements
- Long reasoning blocks render roughly twice as fast (60 FPS versus 30 FPS).
- Thinking UI/UX reworked for a cleaner, more modern presentation.
- Long code replies stream more smoothly while retaining syntax highlighting.
- Model loading behavior improved and chats now retain their settings reliably.
- Projects page allows editing names, instructions, and folders directly.
Bug Fixes
- Chat sessions now correctly remember their configured settings instead of losing them.
Upgrade Notes
Treat this as a track switch rather than a patch: confirm which artifact your deployment actually consumes before changing a pinned 1.21.0 reference, since 0.1.812-beta does not carry forward the Docker workspace, Forgejo, or static-server changes. Validate the ARM64 .deb and in-app Debian update path if you run Linux desktop clients, and re-test MCP image handling and Agent Skills discovery against your existing .agents folders. Because the release notes appear to describe a different product, verify provenance with the maintainers before rolling out.
