@ripple-ts/rollup-plugin@0.4.2 ripple@0.4.2

low risk

What's New

Core ripple 0.4.2 is a perf-only patch (SSR, DOM, lists); rollup-plugin 0.4.2 just bumps @tsrx/ripple to 0.2.1.

Improvements

  • Buffered server rendering emits static text and attribute values above U+00FF as numeric character references (raw-text elements excluded), keeping responses single-byte and roughly halving flatten, byte-length and UTF-8 encode cost.
  • The runtime text escaper now uses two single-character searches for `&` and `<` instead of a regex test.
  • Text-only elements are cloned without a placeholder text node and written via set_text_content, removing a DOM read and a text node per list cell and letting hydration adopt server text without cursor descent.
  • Keyed @for lists and list items get leaner first runs and an optimized diffing algorithm, with key callbacks reading items more cheaply.
  • Chromium reorder cost is reduced by walking the range front to back rather than appending items.

Upgrade Notes

This is a patch-level, performance-only delta with no documented API or config changes; the rollup plugin release merely aligns @tsrx/ripple to 0.2.1, so keep the plugin and core runtime versions in sync. If you snapshot or byte-compare server-rendered HTML, expect non-ASCII static text and attributes to appear as numeric character references (script-style raw-text elements are unaffected). No migration steps are required.
