v0.9.10 v0.9.9

high risk

Universal-Debloater-Alliance/universal-android-debloater-next-generationAug 20, 2026 → Aug 18, 20260 days between releases

What's New

v0.9.9 predates v0.9.10 despite being labeled newer, so this delta is effectively a downgrade.

Breaking Changes

  • Version ordering is inverted: the release presented as newer (v0.9.9, 2026-08-18) ships before v0.9.10 (2026-08-20), so adopting it rolls back the later release's work.
  • The bash tool timeout fix is absent, reverting to the previous multi-week default instead of the 120s cap.
  • Tool output is no longer bounded, reintroducing the unbounded memory retention behavior v0.9.10 addressed.
  • The Extensions Marketplace returns to a read-only state, removing the interactive browsing added in v0.9.10.

New Features

  • Shell tool gains resilience so it no longer wedges when the disk is exhausted.
  • Unverified context windows and output ceilings are now labeled honestly rather than presented as confirmed values.
  • Fleet read-only shell carve-out is now respected by the permission layer.
  • /rename and /title take effect mid-first-turn instead of only after the turn completes.
  • DeepSeek V4 pricing reflects published peak and off-peak tiers.

Improvements

  • Pricing accuracy improved for DeepSeek V4 by modeling peak/off-peak tiers separately.
  • Fleet permission enforcement tightened around the read-only shell carve-out.
  • Session naming commands now apply earlier in the session lifecycle.
  • Context window and output ceiling reporting is more transparent about unverified values.

Bug Fixes

  • Shell tool no longer hangs indefinitely when the filesystem runs out of space.
  • Fleet read-only shell carve-out was previously ignored and is now honored.
  • /rename and /title no longer fail to apply during the first turn.
  • DeepSeek V4 cost estimates corrected to match published tiered pricing.

Upgrade Notes

Treat the version labels with suspicion: v0.9.9 was published two days before v0.9.10, so moving to it is a downgrade that drops the memory cap, stable terminal status rows, interactive marketplace, and 120s bash timeout. If you are already on v0.9.10, stay there unless you specifically need the disk-exhaustion resilience or fleet permission fixes, which would then require a forward-ported build. Confirm the actual artifact tag before pulling, since the install snippets differ only by version string.
