Full Release Notes
## Features ### Claude Plugin SpacetimeDB now ships a Claude plugin alongside the existing Codex plugin, bundling agent skills and the MCP server for Claude users. Install with: ```bash claude plugin marketplace add clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB claude plugin install spacetimedb@spacetimedb-plugins ``` Note: SpacetimeDB MCP is not yet available for Maincloud. ([#5672](<https://github.com/clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB/pull/5672>)) ## Bug Fixes ### Fix "accessor" name migrations Renaming a table accessor (the `name` parameter in `#[table]` or `[Table]`) previously did not update the internal `st_*_accessor` tables during auto-migration. This caused a runtime panic on the next module call because the module depends on accessor names to invoke exposed ABIs. The migration system now detects accessor name changes and applies them. ([#5544](<https://github.com/clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB/pull/5544>)) ### Fix C# HTTP timeout clamp The C# runtime's `HttpClient.MaxTimeout` was incorrectly set to 500 ms instead of the host-enforced limit of 180 seconds. C# modules performing HTTP requests via procedures would time out prematurely for any request exceeding half a second. The clamp now matches the host maximum. ([#5751](<https://github.com/clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB/pull/5751>)) ## Performance ### C# runtime buffer reuse C# module FFI exports now reuse buffers when consuming `BytesSource` values instead of allocating fresh byte arrays per call. Benchmarks show 3-29% speedups for iteration and argument deserialization workloads on .NET 10 NativeAOT-LLVM. This is safe as long as Wasm module execution remains single-threaded. ([#5530](<https://github.com/clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB/pull/5530>)) ## What's Changed - Fix "accessor" name migrations in [#5544](<https://github.com/clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB/pull/5544>) - Fix C# HTTP timeout clamp in [#5751](<https://github.com/clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB/pull/5751>) - Reuse C# runtime buffers (Update #2151 to post .NET 10) in [#5530](<https://github.com/clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB/pull/5530>) - Create Claude Plugin in [#5672](<https://github.com/clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB/pull/5672>) **Full Changelog**: [v2.8.1...v2.8.2](<https://github.com/clockworklabs/SpacetimeDB/compare/v2.8.1...release/candidate/v2.8.2>)
