What's New
Agentgateway v1.6.0 adds resilience features but introduces breaking API format changes and OIDC requirements.
Breaking Changes
- Anthropic Messages requests now prefer OpenAI Responses format instead of Chat Completions.
- Provider base URLs without a path now use `/` (e.g., `https://api.openai.com` becomes `https://api.openai.com/v1`).
- Standalone Helm chart now requires `oidc.enabled` to be true (defaults to false).
- Legacy token-count semantics removed (`AGENTGATEWAY_LEGACY_LLM_USAGE_TOKEN_SEMANTICS`).
- Standalone LLM serving paths must match exactly.
