# Release Notes for v0.2.24 This release is mostly about the Web UI. You can now create and delete agents from the Agents page, so you no longer need the CLI for either task. The UI also adds achievements: badges for usage milestones, stored on the server. It also adds a new migration example that moves a Hermes Holographic memory store into Memanto through OKF. ## New Features - **Achievements in the Web UI** (`memanto/app/ui/static/index.html`, `memanto/app/ui/routes/ui_router.py`) - Milestone badges for agents created (1, 5), memories stored (10, 100, 500, 1,000), a 7-day memory streak, first conflict resolved, first expiry policy saved, and AI tools connected (1, 3). - A new **🏆 Achievements** panel on the History page shows earned and locked badges, with a progress bar for each locked one. - Reaching a milestone plays a celebration card with the Memanto ant and confetti. If several thresholds are passed at once (for example after an import), every badge is awarded but only the highest one is celebrated. - The first time a count is seen, milestones it already meets are recorded without a celebration, so existing workspaces don't get a burst of pop-ups. Conflicts resolved and policies saved are event counts, so they celebrate from the first one. - New local-only endpoints `GET /api/ui/achievements` and `PUT /api/ui/achievements` save progress to `achievements.json` in the Memanto data directory. Writes are atomic and protected by a lock. Progress kept in older browser `localStorage` is moved to the server once, then removed from the browser. - **Create and delete agents from the UI** (`memanto/app/ui/static/index.html`) - A **New Agent** button on the Agents page opens a form for agent ID, pattern and an optional description. It posts to `POST /api/v2/agents` and then activates the new agent, the same as `memanto agent create`. - Each agent row has a **Delete** button that works like `memanto agent delete`. It asks you to confirm, then asks whether to also delete the agent's memories in Moorcheh (`?delete-backup-too=true`) or keep them for later access. - **Hermes Holographic → OKF migration example** (`examples/migrations/hermes-holographic-to-okf/`) - Converts a Hermes Holographic SQLite memory store into a valid OKF bundle and imports it with `memanto migrate okf`. It then exports the destination back to OKF and checks that the Holographic fields survived the round trip. - These fields carry over: fact text, category, tags, trust, timestamps, feedback counters, entities and fact-to-entity links. The FTS, HRR and memory-bank vectors are rebuilt rather than migrated. - Includes a one-command `run_demo.sh`, golden-question recall reports, fidelity reports and a `submission_gate.py` acceptance check. ## Tests - `tests/test_ui_achievements.py`: achievements endpoints return 403 for remote requests, a GET/PUT round trip works (including `exists: false` before the first save), and malformed state gets a 422 with nothing written to disk. - `examples/migrations/hermes-holographic-to-okf/tests/`: tests for the Holographic exporter, demo-source generator, validator, report builder and submission gate. ## Full Changelog Full Changelog: https://github.com/moorcheh-ai/memanto/compare/v0.2.23...v0.2.24
