What's New

Release jumps from the v0.2.0 speech stack to the AHP 1.0.0 protocol spec, with breaking SDK model changes.

Breaking Changes

  • FileEdit and preview `edits` now use named models in generated SDKs, breaking existing SDK APIs that relied on the previous shape.
  • The spec is formalized as a 1.0.0 baseline, so consumers pinned to pre-1.0 protocol semantics should expect incompatible definitions.

New Features

  • `AuthenticateParams.expiresIn` exposes an OAuth access token's remaining lifetime in seconds.
  • Lightweight chat navigation via `SessionSummary.chats`, `SessionChatSummary.interactivity`, and `SessionSummary.defaultChat` without a session subscription.
  • `ChatState.changesets` plus the `chat/changesetsChanged` action expose each chat's changeset catalogue over the chat channel.
  • `AutomationDefinition.disableConditions` supports `afterRuns` and `afterDate` rules combined with OR, editable through `automation/updateRequested`.
  • `AutomationSessionTemplate.customizations` lets clients carry plugins into automation sessions.

Improvements

  • `ChangesetStatus.Recomputing` separates refreshes of completed results from initial computation.
  • `ConfigPropertySchema.minItems`/`maxItems` express array cardinality for array-typed config properties.
  • `McpServerStartingState.blocking` plus the `session/mcpServerBackgroundRequested` action let hosts background blocking MCP startups.
  • `chat/isArchivedChanged` allows archiving a chat independently of its session.
  • `moveChat` provides atomic, stable-URI chat transfer with same-session ordering guarantees.

Upgrade Notes

Regenerate any generated SDKs and update call sites that construct or read `FileEdit` and preview `edits`, since these now use named models. Treat the 1.0.0 spec as the new protocol baseline and re-validate client/host implementations against it. Automation condition edits are opt-in: omitting `disableConditions` leaves them unchanged, while `[]` clears them without re-enabling the automation.
