v4.5.85 v3.1.0
dimartarmizi/map-to-posterOct 1, 2026 → Oct 1, 20260 days between releases
What's New
Major shift from CCXT library maintenance to AgentOS features, introducing RBAC and a new database-backed filesystem with breaking schema changes.
Breaking Changes
- MCP default and lifecycle tools are now opt-in; previously, `tools=[...]` included built-in defaults.
- Filesystem table re-key: The `agno_fs` table key changed to `(namespace, user_id, path)`, requiring a manual migration script.
New Features
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) package with role store, audit logs, and pluggable engines.
- New AgentOS Filesystem (`DbFileSystem`) with dedicated `/filesystem` routes.
- AIMLAPITools for image, video, speech, and transcription via AI/ML APIs.
- Refreshed MCP server config and built-in auth handling.
Improvements
- Extended scopes and auth middleware to enforce RBAC policies.
- Incrementing nonce updates in multiple exchanges (older release).
- Go improvements with typed struct returns (older release).
Bug Fixes
- Rust error handling fixes to stop fetch operations from swallowing errors.
- Woo exchange now reports the executed cost of an order correctly.
- Bingx exchange now correctly forwards spot order history time filters.
- Hyperliquid adjustments for TWAP orders and RL settings.
Upgrade Notes
If using `DbFileSystem`, run the manual migration script (`migrate_filesystem_postgres.py` or `migrate_filesystem_sqlite.py`) to update the `agno_fs` table schema, as the key has changed to `(namespace, user_id, path)`. Additionally, update MCP configuration to explicitly list default and lifecycle tools if they are required, as they are now opt-in.
