## Fixes - **macOS in-app update now installs.** Previously the updater would download, show "Restart & update", relaunch, and stay on the old version. Root cause: bundled libraries shipped read-only, so the macOS updater (Squirrel.Mac / ShipIt) could not clear the download quarantine attribute and aborted the install. Libraries are now writable, with a build guard so this cannot regress.
