What's New
v2.7.0 adds Firebase Scrypt password hash support so Firebase users can be imported with existing hashes, plus config and dependency updates.
New Features
- Support for Firebase Scrypt password hashes, allowing Firebase Authentication users to be migrated with their existing password hashes intact.
- Import JSON schema is now autogenerated, exposing a new configuration option for it.
- Updated omitempty flags on serialized fields, changing which fields appear when empty.
Improvements
- Routine dependency bumps across frontend and backend, including Next.js, turbo, sass, ts-loader, ts-jest, and go-oidc.
- Configuration handling refined alongside the new import schema option.
Upgrade Notes
No breaking changes are documented; this is a minor version bump and should be a drop-in upgrade. If you plan to migrate from Firebase, export users via the Firebase CLI and point the import at the new Scrypt hash support, and review the autogenerated import JSON schema for any config additions. Watch for serialized responses where omitempty flags changed, in case clients assume those fields are always present.
