AI Summary

This release fixes the file saving retry logic to only replace the specific illegal characters that caused the browser rejection, rather than swapping all replaceable characters for fullwidth lookalikes. It also resolves unintended side effects where the `+` symbol was converted to `+` and table row removal operations.

Key Highlights

  • Refines retry logic for file name rejections in Firefox, Chromium, and Android.
  • Only replaces the specific illegal characters causing rejection instead of all replaceable ones.
  • Respects the configured replacement character for rejected file names.
  • Fixes unintended conversion of the `+` symbol to `+`.
  • Corrects behavior when removing rows from the 'characters replaced' table.

### Fixes

- The retry that runs when the browser rejects a file name ("illegal characters" in Firefox, "invalid filename" in Chromium) now replaces only the characters the browser refuses (`\ : * ? " < > |`, plus `%` in Firefox, and `; + = [ ]` on Android), using the replacement configured for that character or the replacement character, instead of swapping all eleven replaceable characters for their fullwidth lookalikes (#2019, #2022). Removing the rows of the "characters replaced in file names" table now yields `_`, as the former JSON edit did, and `+` is no longer turned into `+` when another character caused the rejection.
