Breaking Changes
- TextItem literals in Rust now require `font_weight: None` for items whose weight class is unknown
New Features
- Added `font_weight` metadata (100..=900) to text items
- Opt-in `bold_from_weight` API to infer boldness from weight class 600+
- Fixed off-canvas labels leaking into surrounding text
Improvements
- Improved PDF parsing by tolerating leading bytes before the `%PDF-` header
Bug Fixes
- Fixed off-canvas labels leaking into surrounding text
Upgrade Notes
Rust users must update `TextItem` literals to include `font_weight: None` for items with unknown weights. The `bold_from_weight` API is opt-in and does not affect default behavior.
