What's New

Major architecture refactor introduces dynamic agents capability and durable job queue, replacing legacy alarm mechanisms.

Breaking Changes

  • Removed `getNextAlarm()`, `onAlarm()`, `LifecycleServices.alarms`, and `AlarmContribution`
  • Removed legacy `cf_agents_schedules` table (migrated to `cf_agents_jobs`)
  • Removed `Scheduler.__DO_NOT_USE_WILL_BREAK__handleAlarmMemoryLimit`

New Features

  • New `dynamic-agents` capability facade with methods like `get`, `abort`, `delete`, `has`, `list`
  • New `RoutedAgents` class for routing top-level agents by public ID
  • Durable job queue with automatic retries, deadman switches, and order-driven execution
  • New examples: `dynamic-agents` and `chats`

Improvements

  • Extracted facet machinery into `dynamic-agents` Lifecycle capability
  • Repositioned facets as isolation primitives rather than the recommended way to model many chat sessions
  • `SubAgentClass` and `SubAgentStub` remain as compatibility aliases (marked `@deprecated`)

Upgrade Notes

Remove legacy alarm methods and migrate `cf_agents_schedules` to `cf_agents_jobs`. Update code to use the new `dynamic-agents` capability facade instead of direct facet instantiation. Update imports and configuration to reflect the new Lifecycle capability structure.
