What's New
New lockfile revision 3 and per-tool libc selection for Aqua tools
Breaking Changes
- Lockfile revision 3 is now required; older versions reject new lockfiles.
- SLSA provenance checks fail if the expected signer identity is not configured.
- Dotfiles history shared across machines requires a schema version 2 upgrade.
New Features
- Per-tool `libc` selection for Aqua tools (glibc vs musl).
- Monorepo task path aliases for deep config roots.
- `mise dot track --allow-plaintext` to handle credential-like filenames.
- `mise use mbx` resolves to `mr-boxington`.
- `cargo +nightly` works again with rustup toolchain setup.
Improvements
- Performance improvements for shims and config loading.
- Packslip tools persist across repository renames via lockfile revision 3.
- SLSA provenance checks now require expected signer identities.
Bug Fixes
- Regression fix for `mise run --no-timings`.
- Regression fix for `cargo +nightly` and `outdated`/`upgrade` version comparison.
Upgrade Notes
Upgrade to lockfile revision 3 to support packslip IDs for repository renames. Configure an expected signer identity for SLSA provenance checks to pass. Dotfiles history sharing across machines requires a schema version 2 upgrade.
