What's New
Dify 1.10.1 adds MySQL support and faster Workflow Editor, but API/worker images now run as non-root UID 1001.
Breaking Changes
- API and worker containers now execute as non-root UID 1001, so local storage volumes owned by another UID may fail until permissions are corrected.
New Features
- First-class MySQL support via DB_TYPE, alongside existing PostgreSQL and OceanBase backends.
- MLflow tracing integration for observability.
- Trigger billing support.
- MCP OAuth discovery with dynamic scope selection.
- Stop-run control for published apps.
Improvements
- Workflow Editor responsiveness improved substantially, remaining smooth near 200 nodes instead of lagging around 50.
- API and worker images hardened by running as non-root UID 1001.
- Alembic migrations and SQL helpers updated for cross-database compatibility.
- CI coverage added for MySQL migration testing.
- Workflow editor UI, variable inspection, media components, and node interactions refined.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed advanced-chat workflows failing to stop correctly.
- Corrected token overcounting.
- Fixed weightedScore retrieval.
- Resolved Node.js SDK multipart handling issues.
Upgrade Notes
Before upgrading, chown ./volumes/app/storage to 1001:1001 if using local filesystem storage, then restart api and worker. For MySQL deployments, set DB_TYPE and run the multi-database migrations. Review trigger billing and MCP OAuth behavior if those features are in use.
