What's New
The two release notes describe unrelated projects (LiveKit agents plugin vs. Stalwart mail server), so no meaningful upgrade delta can be derived.
Breaking Changes
- The newer notes belong to a different product (Stalwart server v0.16.21) than the older package (@livekit/agents-plugin-trugen 1.8.0), so the artifacts are not interchangeable.
- Sieve-generated messages are now DKIM-signed via a new dkimSignDomain setting defaulting to the account domain, which can alter outbound signing behavior.
- LDAP/Active Directory servers that permit unauthenticated bind will no longer authenticate accounts that supply no password.
New Features
- Sieve fileinto :specialuse and specialuse_exists now accept the \Trash form.
- New SieveUserInterpreter.dkimSignDomain setting controls DKIM signing of user-script-generated mail.
- OpenTelemetry log exporter now includes parent span attributes.
Improvements
- IMAP pipelined STATUS/FETCH batches now return a tagged completion for every queued command.
- WebDAV no longer advertises a spurious 4 GiB quota when an account has no storage quota.
- Spam filter domain and URL blocklists are only queried for text formatted as a link.
- LDAP authentication hardened against passwordless binds on permissive directory servers.
Bug Fixes
- JMAP CalendarEvent/set scheduling requests now return forbidden when the account cannot send them.
- JMAP Calendar/get and AddressBook/get return all properties when the properties argument is omitted or null.
- EventSource ping events now report the interval in seconds instead of milliseconds.
- Calendar synthetic ids for expanded recurrences now identify occurrences by recurrence id.
- Duplicate inbound DMARC and TLS aggregate reports are re-imported instead of being dropped.
Upgrade Notes
First confirm which package you actually depend on: the newer notes are for Stalwart v0.16.21, not the LiveKit agents plugin, so they cannot be applied as a version bump to @livekit/agents-plugin-trugen. If you are genuinely moving Stalwart from 0.15.x, follow the linked UPGRADING/v0_16.md guide and replace the binary or pull the new image. Review Sieve DKIM signing defaults and LDAP bind behavior before rolling out, as both can change authentication and mail-signing outcomes.
