Patch release improves desktop update reliability and prevents restart loops.
Bug Fixes
- Return to the app reliably after an update by waiting for the previous instance to close.
- Show clear feedback during restarts instead of quit failure if cleanup takes longer than ten seconds.
- Repeated quit requests now wait for the same cleanup process.
Upgrade Notes
The first upgrade to 0.22.2 still uses the older app's shutdown screen and behavior. If it reports a quit error but then restarts successfully, the new version can still be installed. Clients already stuck in a restart loop may need help from customer support.
