What's New
Pi-native tools now require explicit project arguments and stricter session validation.
Breaking Changes
- Pi-native `mem_update` and `mem_delete` require explicit `expected_project` argument
- `mem_session_end` only accepts current host session ID and rejects foreign IDs
- `pi-engram init` preserves existing MCP config instead of replacing it
New Features
- Cross-project saves use isolated, project-owned sessions
- Automatic prompt capture redacts `<private>` blocks
- `mem_context` accepts optional `max_bytes` and `compact` arguments
- Session resume registration with `resume: true` flag
Improvements
- Pi startup no longer silently imports tracked chunks from cloned repos
- Explicit cross-project saves use isolated sessions
- `mem_session_end` validates host session ID before processing
Upgrade Notes
Update `mem_update` and `mem_delete` calls to include the `expected_project` argument. Ensure `mem_session_end` uses the current host session ID. Manually remove existing `mcpServers.engram` entries if you want native-only writes after running `pi-engram init`.
