What's New
Newer release republishes the same AHP 1.0.0 content as the normative spec instead of the Go client SDK, with no functional delta.
Breaking Changes
- FileEdit and preview edits are represented by named models in generated SDKs, so code referencing the previous inline/anonymous shapes must be regenerated.
- Protocol compatibility baselines are narrowed to 1.0.0 and 0.9.0, dropping support for older protocol revisions.
- Both of the above are carried over unchanged from the Go client release rather than introduced by the spec release.
New Features
- The spec release normatively defines AuthenticateParams.expiresIn for OAuth token lifetime, which the Go client already implemented.
- SessionSummary.chats, SessionChatSummary.interactivity, and defaultChat are formally specified for lightweight chat navigation.
- chat/isArchivedChanged and ChatState.changesets with chat/changesetsChanged are given normative action and channel definitions.
- AutomationDefinition.disableConditions (afterRuns/afterDate, OR-combined) is specified along with host-owned AutomationEntry.runCount semantics.
- McpServerStartingState.blocking and the session/mcpServerBackgroundRequested action are documented as part of the 1.0.0 contract.
Improvements
- ConfigPropertySchema.minItems and maxItems now formally express array cardinality for type "array" properties (#432).
- ChangesetStatus.Recomputing is defined to distinguish a refresh of a completed result from initial computation.
- AutomationSessionTemplate.customizations are specified for tailoring automation-spawned sessions.
- The spec artifact gives implementers in other languages a normative reference matching the Go SDK behavior.
Upgrade Notes
These two tags are parallel artifacts of the same AHP 1.0.0 release rather than a sequential upgrade, so moving from the Go client tag to the spec tag changes documentation, not runtime behavior. Treat the listed breaking changes as applying to upgrades from pre-1.0.0 protocol versions: regenerate SDKs for the named FileEdit/preview models and confirm peers negotiate 1.0.0 or 0.9.0. No config migration is required between these two tags.
