clients/go/v0.4.0 v0.4.0
microsoft/agent-host-protocolJun 19, 2026 → Jun 19, 20260 days between releases
What's New
Newer v0.4.0 adds Swift-specific breaking changes and chat lifecycle; older Go release already had typed origins and reducers.
Breaking Changes
- SessionStatus is now an OptionSet (UInt32) instead of an Int.
- ChatState is flattened and its summary field moved to the ChatSummary catalog entry.
- modifiedAt timestamps on ChatSummary and ChatState changed from numeric values to ISO 8601 strings.
- SessionChatsChangedAction was removed and replaced by separate added, removed, and updated chat actions.
New Features
- Dedicated ahp-chat: channel with createChat and disposeChat lifecycle management.
Improvements
- Fixed AnyCodable encoding corruption for numeric types and unsigned integers.
Bug Fixes
- AnyCodable no longer corrupts numeric types and unsigned integers during encoding.
Upgrade Notes
Migrating from the Go client to the Swift package requires adapting to Swift-specific types: SessionStatus as OptionSet, ISO 8601 timestamp strings, and split chat actions. Implement the new ahp-chat: channel lifecycle (createChat/disposeChat) if using chat features. Validate AnyCodable numeric encoding after upgrade.
