What's New

Identical AHP 0.8.0 notes; the newer tag ships the Swift package instead of the Go client module.

Breaking Changes

  • Swift consumers must rename `ResourceReponsePart` to `ResourceResponsePart`; the typo the Go client never had is now corrected across all five clients.
  • `SessionState.inputNeeded` entries of kind `toolClientExecution` no longer surface `SessionStatus.InputNeeded`, so sessions remain `InProgress` while a client tool runs.
  • `Customization` enablement now carries scoped host-published provenance, and `session/customizationToggled` replaces the full decision set rather than patching it.
  • `auth/required` now requires a fully populated `ProtectedResourceMetadata` in its `resource` field.

New Features

  • No new capabilities relative to the older tag — the AHP 0.8.0 feature set (request `_meta`, child enablement, `x-` scheme prefix, working-directory replacement) is unchanged.

Improvements

  • The Swift binding now exposes the corrected `ResourceResponsePart` spelling, bringing type naming in line with the Go and Rust clients.
  • Both tags implement the same AHP 0.8.0 spec, so cross-language behavior is aligned between the Go and Swift artifacts.

Bug Fixes

  • The `session/workingDirectoryReplaced` duplicate-retention fix (a later replacement cannot move a protected primary) is now present in the Swift package as well.
  • `primaryReplacement` may accompany `immutablePrimary`, preserving compatibility with legacy clients.

Upgrade Notes

The two tags carry byte-identical release notes, so the only real delta is the packaging target: the newer tag is the Swift package, the older one the Go module. Swift consumers should expect the `ResourceReponsePart` → `ResourceResponsePart` rename and the `InputNeeded` behavior change for `toolClientExecution`; Go consumers upgrading within the Go module are unaffected by this tag. Verify generated code against the corrected type name before bumping.
