Upgrade Notes
Both releases apply the identical v3.8.4 backport (wildcard emission column restoring timestamps for digits, symbols, and foreign script, plus a regression test and pytest CI workflow), so moving from 3.5.2 to 3.7.9 gains nothing described here. The 3.5.x to 3.7.x minor-version jump may carry other changes not covered by these notes, so review the full changelog before upgrading. If you already run 3.5.2, the #1372 fix is present and this upgrade is effectively a version-line move.
