AI Summary
This release deprecates specific Embind library functions and fixes `MAXIMUM_MEMORY` handling to accept imported memories up to the limit without growing. It introduces experimental epoll listeners for main thread event delivery.
Key Highlights
- Deprecation of `getInheritedInstanceCount` and `getLiveInheritedInstances`
- Fix for `MAXIMUM_MEMORY` to honor imported memory sizes
- Experimental epoll listener API for main thread readiness

- Experimental `emscripten_epoll_listener_add` and `emscripten_epoll_listener_remove`
Full Release Notes
## What's Changed - The embind library functions `getInheritedInstanceCount` and `getLiveInheritedInstances` were marked as deprecated. (#27899) - `MAXIMUM_MEMORY` is now honored with `IMPORTED_MEMORY` even without `ALLOW_MEMORY_GROWTH`: the module accepts an imported memory of any size up to the maximum, but never grows it. Previously the maximum was ignored, with a warning, and only a memory of exactly `INITIAL_MEMORY` was accepted. (#27859) - Added experimental `emscripten_epoll_listener_add` and `emscripten_epoll_listener_remove` in the new `<emscripten/epoll.h>`. These listeners deliver an epoll set's readiness to a callback, supported on the main thread only. The callback itself is then able to collect the events via a zero-timeout `epoll_wait`, without an `ASYNCIFY`/`JSPI` requirement.
