What's New
The two releases come from unrelated codebases, so this is a wholesale platform swap rather than an incremental upgrade.
Breaking Changes
- Banner no longer infers role="status"/"alert" from its status prop; callers must use useAnnounce() or set the role explicitly.
- Layout, MetadataList, NavHeadingMenuItem, and TopNavMegaMenuItem now actually forward BaseProps (id, ARIA, data-*, handlers, style), which can change rendered output.
- BottomSheet now pads content by default; pass padding={0} to restore the previous unpadded box.
- The CLI layout command group is removed, theme add now imports built themes, and invalid or conflicting input fails instead of being tolerated.
- Spacing tokens moved to rem across Core, Matcha, and Y2K themes, and phone typography now starts at 16px in four themes.

Upgrade Notes
Treat this as a migration to a different product rather than a version bump: pin Core, CLI, build, and every theme to 0.7.0 in a single install, then run the upgrade CLI with --from set to your current version. Manually audit callsites that pass IDs, ARIA/data attributes, event handlers, or style props to the affected layout and nav components, since those props previously did nothing and produce no type error. Visually review spacing and phone typography after the rem token change, and update any scripts that relied on the removed CLI layout commands.
