What's New

v0.9.3 fixes AmneziaWG proxy link IPs and adds optional public_ip config, with no breaking changes.

New Features

Adds optional [server].public_ip to set an IP or domain used in generated tg:// links and the startup banner.
setup_tunnel.sh now auto-detects the host IPv4 and injects public_ip into config.toml before starting the proxy in the network namespace.

Improvements

When public_ip is configured, startup skips external IP lookup services, improving speed and reducing network dependency.
Tunnel setup now determines the real host IPv4 before entering the namespace, avoiding incorrect address detection.
Documentation and config.toml.example were updated to describe the new public_ip option.

Bug Fixes

AmneziaWG tunnel proxy links now use the server public IP instead of the VPN exit IP.
setup_tunnel.sh no longer crashes on re-run when copying the AmneziaWG config to the same source and destination.
Tunnel setup avoids cases where curl returned an IPv6 address or no address for public IP detection.

Upgrade Notes

No config.toml migration is required; public_ip is optional and preserves the previous auto-detection behavior. On AmneziaWG hosts, rerun setup_tunnel.sh so it can inject the host IPv4, or set [server].public_ip manually to avoid external lookups and ensure correct links.
