What's New

Font decoding improvements and worktree management changes in v0.79.0

Breaking Changes

  • `wt switch --no-cd -x <program>` now governs shell execution, not program working directory
  • `wt merge --no-ff` and `wt step push --no-ff` now sign merge commits under `commit.gpgSign`
  • `rebase.updateRefs` no longer moves other local branches stacked in the rebased range

New Features

  • Program execution in worktree via `wt switch --no-cd -x`
  • Tab preview availability indicators in picker
  • Improved merge/remove messaging naming the destination
  • Dry-run previews for merge/squash operations
  • Config update accepts migration path

Improvements

  • Picker preview tabs show content availability
  • Merge/remove messages now name the destination and end with the command to run
  • `/wt-switch-create` no longer stalls at Claude Code dialog
  • Decodes ligature glyph names by components
  • Handles `uniXXXX` sequences and suffixes like `.liga`

Bug Fixes

  • Fix for `/wt-switch-create` stalling at Claude Code dialog
  • Ligature names that cannot be read now decode as nothing

Upgrade Notes

Upgrading to v0.79.0 requires updating shell integration commands for `wt switch --no-cd -x` as the flag now controls the shell instead of the program directory. Additionally, merge commits will now respect the `commit.gpgSign` setting, and `rebase.updateRefs` will no longer move stacked branches.
