If you stay on npm, no action is needed beyond bumping to 0.4.89; to drop the Node.js dependency, download the archive matching your OS/CPU, verify against the checksum file, extract dbx-mcp or dbx, and point your MCP client at the binary. Note this package release is intentionally not flagged as the repository's latest release.
